LOWER SHOSHONE – Flows are around 1150 cfs and the river looks great through town. Sage Creek is still dumping a little color but it’s fishable all the way down to Powell. Hoppers with a size 12-16 beadhead nymph like a red copper john, yellow sally or soft hackle jig dropper have been working well. Streamers are also picking up some fish.
BIG HORN / WIND – Flows are around 1150 cfs. Fishing has been good. Tricos, worms, hoppers and crawdads.
NORTH FORK – Hoppers, ants, beetles and attractors. Throwing a hopper/dropper or nymphing a stonefly like a Purple 20 Incher or jig soft hackle like a Duracell has been working well. Streamers will also produce.
SOUTH FORK – Hoppers, ants, beetles and attractors. Throwing a hopper/dropper or nymphing a stonefly like a Purple 20 Incher or jig soft hackle like a Duracell has been working well. Streamers will also produce.
CLARK’S FORK – Nocturnal stones, hoppers, ants, beetles, and attractors. Hopper/dropper with a stonefly or jig soft hackle dropper and streamers.
GREYBULL / WOOD – Both have been fishing well. Hoppers, ants, beetles, attractor dries and beadhead nymphs in size 14-16.
YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK – Hoppers, flying ants, crickets and beetles on the Yellowstone above the falls.
NEWTON LAKES – Chironomids, callibaetis, damsels, scuds, leeches, ants and beetles.
LUCE/HOGAN RESERVOIRS – Chironomids, callibaetis, damsels, scuds, leeches, ants and beetles.
