LOWER SHOSHONE – Flows are around 1400 cfs and the water is off color but fishable. Salmon flies are popping in the canyon below the dam. Fish the edges with nymphs or streamers.

BIG HORN / WIND – Flows are around 1400 cfs and the moss is already quite bad but the fishing has been good. Hopper/dropper rigs on the edges are picking up fish above and below the surface, or nymph the seams with sow bugs, Yellow Sally nymphs, perdigons, crawdads and worms.

NORTH FORK – The entire river is now open and fishing great all the way down to the reservoir! Hopper/dropper, nymph rigs and streamers will all catch fish. Focus on the soft water with big stoneflies and jig soft hackles.

SOUTH FORK – Flows are dropping and the clarity is continuing to improve. Clarity is better up in the Valley section. Fish hopper/dropper or nymph the slower, deeper runs and edges with big stoneflies and jig soft hackles.

CLARK’S FORK – Water clarity is better up by the canyon mouth above Paint and Pat O’Hara Creeks.  Fish hopper/dropper or nymph the slower, deeper runs and edges with big stoneflies and jig soft hackles.

GREYBULL / WOOD – Both are clear on their upper reaches. Terrestrial and attractor dry fly fishing has been fantastic.

YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK – PMDs, caddis, Grey Drakes and salmon flies on Soda Butte and Slough Creeks, as well as the Lamar River in the NE corner of the park. The Yellowstone River above the falls is now open. Look for salmon flies, caddis and PMDs. Yellowstone Lake has been fishing well with leeches.

NEWTON LAKES – Damsels, chironomids, callibaetis, scuds, leeches, flying ants and beetles.

LUCE/HOGAN RESERVOIRS -Damsels, chironomids, callibaetis, scuds, leeches, flying ants and beetles.
