LOWER SHOSHONE – Flows are around 1800 cfs. Look for heads up in the back eddies or on the edges sipping caddis. Nymphing the riffles and runs or tossing streamers on the banks has also been productive.
BIG HORN / WIND – Flows are around 1800 cfs and the moss is already quite bad. Dry/dropper rigs on the edges are starting to pick up some fish. Nymph the seams with sow bugs, caddis pupa, perdigons, crawdads and worms or toss streamers.
NORTH FORK – The river is now closed below Newton Creek until July 1st! High and dirty.
SOUTH FORK – High and dirty.
CLARK’S FORK – High and dirty.
GREYBULL / WOOD – High and dirty.
YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK – The west side (Firehole, Gibbon Madison) have been fishing well. Look for fish up on PMDs, white miller caddis and salmon flies. Swinging soft hackles or buggers is also a very effective method. Yellowstone Lake has also been fishing well with chironomids, leeches and streamers.
NEWTON LAKES – Chironomids, callibaetis, scuds and leeches.
LUCE/HOGAN RESERVOIRS -Chironomids, callibaetis, scuds and leeches.
