LOWER SHOSHONE – Flows are around 2500 cfs and the water is off color. Fish the edges with nymphs or streamers.

BIG HORN / WIND – Flows are around 1600 cfs and the moss is already quite bad. Hopper/dropper rigs on the edges are picking up fish above and below the surface, or nymph the seams with sow bugs, Yellow Sally nymphs, perdigons, crawdads and worms.

NORTH FORK – The river is closed to fishing below Newton Creek until July 1st! Flows have dropped considerably over the last several days and the river pretty good is fishing above the closure. Nymph the slower, deeper runs with big stoneflies and jig soft hackles.

SOUTH FORK – Flows have dropped considerably over the several few days. Nymph the slower, deeper runs with big stoneflies and jig soft hackles.

CLARK’S FORK – Flows have dropped considerably over the last several days and there’s around a foot of visibility. Salmon flies are hatching so fish dry/dropper on the banks, nymph the slower, deeper runs with big stoneflies and jig soft hackles or throw streamers on the edges.

GREYBULL / WOOD – Flows have dropped considerably over the last several days. Nymph the slower, deeper runs with attractor beadheads and jig soft hackles.

YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK – The west side rivers (Firehole, Gibbon Madison) have been fishing well. Look for fish up on caddis, PMDs and rusty spinners. Swinging soft hackles or buggers is also a very effective method. Yellowstone Lake has been fishing well with leeches.

NEWTON LAKES – Damsels, chironomids, callibaetis, scuds, leeches, flying ants and beetles.
